    I hate child’s pose — I have bad knees and a belly. Spreading my knees further apart doesn’t help – my hips are fine, but my knees still hate me. Any alternatives?

    • Hi April! You are not alone!! I know a lot of students who are not child’s pose fans. In a class you could simply take a break in whatever seated pose feels most comfy. If you have a little more time, try child’s pose on your back – hugging your knees into your chest to whatever degree feels good or try a happy baby variation with the legs a bit straighter.
